Library hosts book talk on ‘new frugality’
BRUNSWICK — Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St., will host a casual and information discussion of Chris Farrell’s book “ The New Frugality: How To Consume Less, Save More, and Live Better” at 5: 30 p. m. Wednesday as part of the library’s Money Works for Women financial literacy program.
In the book, Farrell, economics editor of Marketplace Money, a nationally syndicated one-hour weekly personal finance show produced by American Public Media, “guides readers to a healthier relationship with their finances,” a library release states. “Written to educate and inspire, ‘The New Frugality’ emphasizes changing the way we live and spend to make the most of what we have.”
