UNSELFISH BIRTHDAY WISH

FOR HER NINTH BIRTHDAY party, Madison Pinkham of Georgetown asked her party guests to bring food for the Bath Area Food Bank instead of gifts. She donated nearly 80 pounds of food, according to Kimberly Gates, a volunteer at the food bank. “I find it hard to believe many little girls would even have thought of this,” Gates wrote in an email to The Times Record. “I was so thrilled I could be there when she brought her generous donation.”
