A solo art show by Morse High School senior Logan Howard is about to be on display at Patten Free Library.

The show will open with a 4 p.m. reception Tuesday in the library’s Community Room. The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular library hours, and will be on display through June 11.

“We’re so pleased that Logan will be able to show her work here,” said Roberta Jordan, an outreach and instruction librarian who also works with young adults, in a prepared statement. “We have loved the work she has entered in our annual student art show over the years, and can’t wait to see a room full of her creations.”

Howard, who is from Bath, is busy assembling work in a variety of media to display.

“I am truly looking forward to having my work showcased,” she said in a prepared statement. “I have always loved art, and it’s an honor to share my passion with the community.”

After graduation, Howard plans to attend the Maine College of Art in Portland.

Light refreshments will be served at the reception.

Patten Free Library is located at 33 Summer St.
