Morse jayvee boys fall to Waterville

WATERVILLE — The Morse High School jayvee boys basketball team fell cold in the fourth quarter and dropped a game to Waterville on Tuesday, 45-39.

After jumping out to an early lead, the Shipbuilders went into the halftime break down four. The visitors picked up the pressure and finished the third frame up one, only to be forced into the outside shot and outscored 17-11 by Waterville to end the game.

Morse was led by Tait Nygaard and Tyriek Foster, who both had nine points.

The Shipbuilders will finish their season on Friday night when they host Winslow.
